Greetings all!

So pleased to see another Kasabian forum up and running and to see some familiar names again. I must admit that I lurked rather than posted on the other board, but will try and be more proactive on this one!

Off to Nottingham to see the boys on 2 December, 5th time now I think and can't wait. Will be at the front hopefully, like I was at Rock City a couple of summers ago.

Been listening to the leak (sorry, I had to, I just couldn't wait for the iTunes pre-order to download next week!) and agree that it is immediately a grower. WRPLA had to be listened to through gritted teeth the first couple of times, but Velociraptor! seems to be easier on the ears. Re-Wired is incredible and MUST be the next release. Can't wait to hear it live.

Anyway, thanks for starting the forum. I hope that it will be well used. So, if you register, please post!!

Hi all.

Well done for creating a replacement forum. Piss poor of Sony to not re-instate the old one after the website re-design.

Managed a couple of the intimate summer shows, and I'll be at Nottingham and Sheffield in December.

Was a little worried about 'raptor when I first heard it. I'm notorious for having to listen a couple of times to albums before I take to them, but never had that difficulty with the boys' previous 3 albums. I think 'raptor is much more of a departure from the early stuff than WRPLA was. And it's taken me a bit of listening to to tune into it.

Safe to say, after a week of non-stop playing in the car to and from work, my fellow commuters are back to seeing me screeching nonsensical lyrics at them whilst stationary at the traffic lights ("They hunt for rabbits. Just like Yosemite Sam." - FFS Serge!).

Well done again for kicking the forum off.

My name is Justin and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I am sick and f'n tired of the fact no one in America is aware of Kasabian. OK, so we have maybe 100 fans, but you get the idea. So I am taking on the effort to start a grass roots movement here to help promote the band. So far we have:
