It appears from the pre-order link that they're not signing this one.
I personally think that's a good idea as it devalues their autographs in my opinion if they keep sigining everything they release. On the other hand it will dissapoint the eBay sellers I bet, some of them were turning a good profit on the last 2 releases.

At this point they might as well not even release singles. Their chart placements have been highly disappointing. Having said that, Goodbye Kiss does make for a perfect single.

It's not a case of them releasing singles to achieve a high chart positions with them, the days are long gone for bands like Kasabian to achieve great chart positions with singles. For starters they only release them in Ltd quantities so that's not their aim in the first place. What they're probably going for is the radio air play that goes with the release of a new single, that alone will be the push that they're after in order to try and shift more copies of the album etc which will be thery're overall goal. I think it's good that they're still putting physical singles out, a lot of bands these days you're lucky if you get a digital release and that's it. We need more bands to do this type of thing or the physical single will indeed be a thing of the past.

I don't really think about the physical release/chart position, when I hear there's a new single, I think new video!
Wonder what direction they'll go with this one.

www.nme.com/news/beady-eye/61606I see that Kasabian feature twice in the top 10 selling 12" vinyls of 2011 (even though technically they're 10" so they don't count ) Just goes to show how few vinyl 12s must be sold nowadays, if a limited release of 1,000 can make it into the top 10.
