I just saw this myself and pleasantly surprised.I went last year to my local record store around 830 and the queue was long then .I am going earlier this year as I really want Bowies Starman ,and White stripes and know this will fly out ,so this is an additional incentive to drag myself out at a good couple of hours earlier.😲

It's a Saturday. There are two stores in Nottingham. I should be able to do it! More questions: Do they have to be reserved? Shall I just go and queue - what's the procedure! |

You can't reserve any item that is for Recordstore day, you have to queue at the shop on the morning itself. This is where it can get frustrating, not all shops will get an allocation of all the Record Store Day items, you may also find that they only get very low numbers as well, in other words if you want something bad, you've got the queue a good 2/3 hours before the shop opens to stand a decent change of getting the good stuff. You can only buy 1 as well, if you want another you have to go to another store, but by the time you've been to store 1, I guarantee that most stuff will be sold out at store 2, so you either need a few of you to spread the queuing accross the 2 stores. Yes , that's the problem ,you've got to go early .Last year at banquet in Kingston I was surprised at the queue when I got there and I thought I went early.Then I found out people were queuing from 430 am .And as said you can only buy the one copy .I just hope banquet is stocking this one and will probably be there with my camping stool at 630 .Also on banquet website a week after rsd if they have any stock left you can buy it online .

Yep, my thoughts as well, this pretty much dissapeared from the official RSD list straight away, I had a bad feeling then, I contacted RSD to see if it has officially been pulled but I didn't get a response. |

Just checked my local record store Kingston Surrey and they're not stocking the loose tapestries or Bowie so I won't be bothering this year.If anyone wants to know and you live round London Rough trade west is stocking loose tapestries but that is known for being ridicously busy .Also the record stores are now putting up whats coming in so good luck if your going👍

I've just checked my local store at Kingston and no kasabian, but now it's saying loose tapestries if anyone lives near Kingston .Im going now again and hoping to get the NG vinyl ,miles Kane and maybe the loose tapestries but thats £24.99 which i suppose is the standard price so here's hoping.
