Filmed in high definition at London’s renowned O2 Arena on 15 December 2011, this is Kasabian’s first Blu Ray release. The show came on the back of the band’s No.1 album "Velociraptor!" and the setlist combines tracks from that album with hits and classic album tracks from across their career so far. The concert was part of a sold out arena tour that covered the UK and Ireland at the end of last year. Kasabian are the recipients of numerous awards for "Best Live Band" and "Best British Band" in recent years and this new show with its spectacular and innovative staging will be a must have for their huge and dedicated fanbase.

Following an appearance at Big Day Out and an Australian Top 10 with the hit album Velociraptor! Kasabian are one of the most exciting bands to hit the Australian scene. I went to all the O2 dates and the 15th was the best of them.I suppose they chose it cause of singing happy birthday to serge and jingle bells also the atmosphere of the crowd was better ,even though I was further away then Wednesday i enjoyed it much more.Also the nye there was the cock up with big Ben and people have probably obtained it from you tube😉But does the DVD version differ from Blu ray?

They had a planned release of a DVD in 2005 which was one of the earlier Brixton Academy dates but this got canned.

It was released in ultra low quantities as a promo but they're super rare and hunting one down is almost impossible.

What is the proper release date of this .Some places say 25 may and some say 25 June .I haven't ordered mine yet but if someone knows and it's may il have to hurry up.
