I got most of my items from my local record shop in Newcstle (Reflex CD) and finished off with the USA releases through various online retailers later on the day.
All in all I was over the moon with my purchases this year.

The vaccines
They sold out on the miles Kane,arctic monkies,and I really wanted Bowie most of all so I'm trying my luck on eBay at the moment.I thought the Black keys was a bit pricey so left that but if I had the cash I would of also got The specials, the Beat and a couple of others .Whats the Inspiral carpets and Tim burgess like as my local store had loads so might get them when they go online.

I've just purchased Loose Tapestries on eBay for £62.99 (including postage). I kinda can't believe I paid that much, but I REALLY wanted it!! lol Plus it was the cheapest Buy It Now on there, some of the prices are outrageous!

That's the thing if you really want it ,you have to swallow the price unfortunately .,but we know you realllly wanted it.I really wanted the Bowie but my local store only got 8 in and the boss said 3 went to the first 3 people in the queue and they started queuing at 2am that's dedication and so I got mine on eBay .I bidded on about 12 but I set my limit on about £28 and I got one for £25 so not to bad but the arctics are going for £60 madness.Are you going to play LT ?.I have , I played it quite loud ,god knows what the neighbour thought!Any way enjoy it😄

Queuing at 2am is definitely dedication! Jesus! And good to hear you got the Bowie one you were after!! I was just looking at the Arctic Monkeys one, I don't think I'll get it... It is a pretty purple colour though! haha
I'm undecided as to whether I'll play LT or not.. I have it all on mp3... Maybe I'll give it one spin!

That's the thing , should you play it or not.My daughters also got it on the iPod but felt I had to give it a spin and it did make me laugh a few times .It would of been brilliant if it was a picture disc something psychedelic or swirls.The Bowie will also get played .Im also looking at the Clash but wondering whether to hold on for the online sales on saturday or just keep an eye on eBay as some prices are coming down.Shame kasabian pulled theyres maybe next year and I might be one of those nutters queuing early but I thing I would draw the line at 2am .Theyed probably queued up straight from the pub

On the other hand the Inspiral carpets is also a black vinyl but the cover is fully signed by the band, it's worth it just for the signatures alone. I haven't had a chance to listen to any of my stuff yet, will take a few weeks to get through them all. All the shops are allowed to sell remaining stock online from Sunday onwards so you may well pick up some of the items you are missing. |

Argh, you should have just held on until the weekend, like i've said in my previous post, all remaining stock is sold online from Sunday and i'm pretty sure these didin't sell out, you probably could have picked this one up for the standard price. |

I was hoping they'd get miles Kane in , but no , I will have to go without but I'm going to try and get The Clash and Inspiral carpets and maybe Simple minds.
I got The clash, Simple Minds and Tim Burgess .I might also get the Pretty in Pink soundtrack or The Black keys .Im gutted though no Miles Kane but I'm not paying eBay prices
