Only two more gigs this year so far. The Courteeners this Saturday at Castlefield Bowl and then Miles Kane towards the end of the year. Wouldn't mind abit of QOTSA though

Foals (even if I don't really like their last album) in march Madness last sunday - antic theatre of Fourvière - Lyon Arctic Monkeys + Miles Kane - july 22 - antic theatre of Vienne (near Lyon) IAM (mythic french rap band) - july 29 - antic theatre of Fourvière - Lyon Sigur Ros - july 30 - antic theatre of Fourvière - Lyon Last year I saw M83 + Man Without Country (welsh band), The XX + John Talabot and Noel Gallagher (didn't see Jake Bugg, I was at the bar  ) and of course Kasabian at the antic theatre of Fourvière, and The Stone Roses in the same place. |

I'm so jealous of you seeing Biffy ,life's not fair. I'm hoping that after they do all the US and European tour they might squeeze in a small uk tour just to round things off .Ive only seen them 3 times this year and it is just not enough.So I just make do with rewatching the Reading festie and all the memories come flooding back.Apart from not playing enough oldies it was spot on especially Folding stars .Despite all the times I've seen it performed ,at Reading the emotion coming from Simon was heartbreaking..
I'm hoping to get an iTunes festie in but haven't won any tickets yet.I got on the reserve queue for QOTSA but it was packed .We really thought we would get in but Nevermind November is not to far away.

Yes ,just won tickets for Primal scream for the ITunes festival .I thought I might have to do standby and after queuing for QOTSA and not getting in this definitely makes up for it .😄
