If you don't know Kasabian are playing from 8.55 for 2 hours ,so if they stick to it least they are starting to do the 2 hour set .But I know I keep banging on about the setlists ,I just hope they don't do the same old thing again. Its a case of you know it's Days then STR ,velociraptor .Rewired then empire and so on .I was watching the Hurricane stream so wasn't really expecting any different so if they expect to headline say Glastonbury they have to go up to another level.Ive been following this band not right from the start but from about 2006 and it's just a shame that even now people are still saying they are not a headliner band .We all know if there's one band and frontman that can get a crowd going its this one. Sky arts normally televise Hard Rock so I'm hoping this year is still the case.

Somehow I can't really believe they'll be playing for two hours, especially since Serge was insisting just a month ago or so that he would never go over 1 hour 40 minutes because people get bored (no we won't) so it seems a bit odd to me. But if they do you won't hear me complaining, they can play 9 hours if they feel like it, bring it on.
The Hurricane set was a little bit shorter because they weren't headlining, and this was probably the first time I was actually looking forward to Goodbye Kiss, which isn't usually a favourite, but I really wanted to have a proper recording of the slightly different version they've been playing this year. Meh.

Are you coming over for Hard Rock?they did say that it will be something special I really do hope so .Especially after the 2 warm ups you get an idea of what they will be playing then on Saturday they surprise us all with a track that wasn't performed, how good will that be.With the 2 hr set they are always normally late on but 1hr 45 mins would do me but yeah I would quite happily see them play the same set length as Bruce Springsteen 3hrs .With a few b sides thrown in .The one track I would love them to play is Butcher Blues ..that would be well I wouldn't be able to contain myself.

Yes, I'll be there, and in Bridlington as well. I hope there'll be something special, but I kind of always say that and when I'm there I'm happy no matter what they do. I like that they've been switching the setlist around a little bit more recently, bringing back Me Plus One, British Legion... I guess they have to because there are too many songs now.

I would bet all my money they won't play 2 hours.
The new Intro seems to be some BBC Theme. Didn't know it but I don't expect them to use it @ HRC.
I went to Hurricane as well since I got a VIP ticket for good conditions (99 Euro incl. 24 Euro of drinks) and it was the best festival performance I have seen them doing in Germany so far. Don't know how it was on TV, hopefully someone recorded it (+ the Southside livestream yesterday).
Looking forward to the 2 UK trips now :-)

Normal Setlist. Nothing special tested during the soundcheck. Great Yorkshire crowd. Short break after Shoot the Runner to calm down the crowd. Ready for HRC!

Misirlou is back and Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime has a new extended guitar outro - those were the main news in the Bridlington setlist. Goodbye Kiss was also played with a new intro / outro.
I think it wasn't a break to calm the crowd down, but they had to stop mid-Velociraptor because somebody was unwell and the medics were trying to get them out. It was very rough at the barrier, but an amazing gig as usual.
