O2 NYE live stream

Anyone else planning on interrupting their NYE plans to watch the live stream (or even centre your night's entertainment around it)?

I've never bothered to hook the lappy up to the TV before. So having purchased VGA and twin phono to 3.5m stereo jack cables (what a faff) I think we're all set to tune in at 23:00 on NYE.

Please tell me O2, YouTube, Vevo, BT, and whoever else might be involved in getting this to my plasma, will have got their shit together and we won't be sat around watching a buffering icon as a lead up to 2012.....

Hope everyone had a good Xmas .I hope it will be showing for a few days as I'm going to leave when fire begins so Il miss the bulk of people leaving the O2 ,that's if fire or lsf is the last so it will be good to watch it back .Hope it streams alright for all of you at home:)))

So how was the stream ? My daughter texted me and she went noooo so it crashed for her.it was aa great way to seein new year but the sound was bHad inparts where as the last 2 dates at o2 were pretty good.the crowd where i was seemed to be there for somewhere to go and not really into the band, but me andmy friend made up for that ourselves .With something like this i know your not going to get all die hard fans.But it was good to hear stuntman .ANd my ears are ringing .Lets hope they do some uk dates next year.Hard rock calling hopefully ;-);-)

Only got up a couple of hours ago!

The stream was surprisingly good, from what I remember of it. The video jumped a little at times, but the audio was great.

I didn't dream it then, they did play Stuntman?

I recall the crowd looking a little stationary. Thought it might have been cos they'd worn themselves out with C&S.

Did they do owt special for midnight/Big Ben? Can't remember that bit cos it was a little hectic in our house (the lounge ceiling light fitting is looking a little skew whiff this afternoon).

Glad you enjoyed it Angkaz. Shame we couldn't make it, but still holding out hope they sign up to Benicassim 2012.

Yes people were a bit stationary you had the odd pockets of people like myself really going for it .people did go mental at chase... So the crowd was a mixed bunch but i suppose that's what you have to expect,I suppose if Noel Gallagher supported or the likes you would of had a better crowd.i watched the stream today and it did sound better on you tube through no fault of Kasabian though and they really seemed to enjoy themselves.I was hoping of auld Lang syne but we got vlad instead so I did wonder what else they were doing for the encore.,and the cockup with midnight was funny poor Tom first the Brits now this but that's why we love them.Hopefully they will bring a DVD out at some point .Oh one last thing that O2 was like a cess pit last night urhh

That isn't a balloon! I've always been on the understanding that it's some kind of aerial and was something to do with the wireless in-ear monitors that Jay and Ian use. I could be wrong, but it's definitely not a balloon!
