Quite a few places to put this thread, so I thought that I would pop it here...! Just a heads up if you have purchased a Concert Live recording of one of the December shows. I have contacted Concert Live to find out when my purchase would be despatched as it was originally purchased mid November and I was originally expecting it for Christmas. This is their response: "Thank you for your email. We sincerely apologise for the continued delay in the dispatch of your order. We were informed by the band’s management that the recording would be ready to be dispatched within the second week of the New Year. The recording is currently in the studio being remixed to the highest quality. Additionally to ensure that the packaging matches the premium sound recording, limited edition and individually numbered packaging is being produced. We were expecting this to be ready within the coming week however the completion dates which are being given to us by the Band’s management are not being stuck to. We will definitely be releasing a recording and we are trying to do whatever we can to make sure that this is produced and sent to you as soon as possible.
We are currently unable to give a confirmed date of dispatch however as soon as we have more information we will send you an email to update you on the situation.
Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding this issue. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further queries."

I also emailed them this week and got the same email. They said we would be getting it 2nd week of January buts it's coming into the 3rd week now. Also why have they appeared on eBay when the recordings for the other venues didn't happen.I stated this in the email but they didn't answer the question.

The only recordings that seem to have actually happened were Brighton, Cardiff and London. I have managed to get hold of a copy from the Cardiff gig, but like everyone else, I'm still waiting for my London one and I got exactly the same response when I asked when it would be turning up Disappointing that they couldn't iron out these issues before the tour started.

I love the Brighton version of Switchblade Smiles! That's how they should have recorded it, with more intense bass playing, the warped guitar part in place of the vocal-sounding sample, and a more assertive vocal bridge. Now the song sounds finished, whereas the album version sounds like a polished demo to me. Here's hoping the O2 version is the best one yet!

One more thing, the levels on Cardiff & Brighton are all over the place so it's well worth the wait for a top notch live album. I can see why they pulled the plug because the vocals are buried a lot and many other mixing issues.

We are sorry for the delay; unfortunately there has been a series of mishaps that have kept setting back the process of getting the Kasabain CDs out to you. We are now just waiting on artwork to be approved by the band and the packaging to be created. Once again we are so sorry about the delay and this is not normally how we operate. We are really disappointed with how long this CD has taken to produce and we promise to get these CDs to you by the end of the month otherwise you will be issued a full refund. We anticipate that these CDs should actually be sent out within 2 weeks but we just don’t want to have to disappoint any more Kasabain fans by pushing back any more deadlines. Once again thanks for your patience.
Kind regards,
Concert Live Customer Services
